New Year, same me? Tierra’s intention for 2021
My New Year’s intention for 2021 is to change absolutely nothing. Hear me out, now: I’m not saying I’m perfect. See, I have a lifelong tendency to get really excited about a new idea or hobby, then fail to follow through on it. Staying home in 2020 gave me the time and space (and boredom) to finally start keeping stuff up.
So my 2021 intention is to keep following through on the hobbies and projects I picked up this year: growing a vegetable garden from kitchen scraps, keeping my beautiful houseplants alive (yes, baking my own bread), and continuing to paint-by-number. I’ve started choosing classic paintings to learn more about art history, and plan to have some of my own photographs made into paint-by-number canvases.
But the most important part of this New Year’s intention for 2021, I plan to keep up my hustle on this blog. I had a baby the month after I first pitched this idea to my friends. I’m really proud that I actually came back to the idea three months later and have invested so much work into it.
Happy 2021, y’all!
